Season: Autumn
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Baking time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
1 roll of puff pastry
2 Apples
100g of jam
50g Brown sugar
50 g Butter to taste
Powdered sugar for garnish
Procedure for 10 pieces:
Heath the oven at 170° and in the meantime rinse the apples, cut them into wedges, core them and slice them thinly (it’s important to cut them thinly in order to fold them easier)
Put the apples on a pan and cover them with brown sugar and butter. Put them in the oven for 5-10 minutes, just long enough to soften, then take them out and let them cool.
Prepare rectangular strips of puff pastry, to be brushed with apricot jam; then lay the slices of apple on top
Fold the strips of puff pastry over the apples and roll them, fixing the last part well, to form small roses; arrange them in the holes of the mold and sprinkle with powdered sugar
Bake at 170 degrees and cook for 40-45 minutes, then let the roses sit for a few minutes before serving them on the table ☺
